EMO Tours Egypt · Cairo
EMO Tours Egypt starts at the Giza pyramids at 8 am, gives the Egyptian Museum two and a half hours in the afternoon and ends in Khan el-Khalili. It's the cheapest private way to do Cairo's two classics in a day, once you pick the option that matches what you want.

The blurb says "admission tickets and the services of an Egyptologist guide are included". At $15 they aren't. When we checked in October 2026 the booking page had four options: Only Car + Audio Guide for $15, car and a live guide without entry fees for $35, and car, guide and entry fees for $60, with or without lunch at the same $60. If you want a person explaining the pyramids and the museum, the real price is $35 plus tickets, or $60 all in.
Tickets on the day add up. The Giza plateau costs 700 EGP for a foreign adult (350 EGP for students), and going inside the Great Pyramid is a separate ticket. The Egyptian Museum is 550 EGP. Both are card only. The Egyptian Museum gets two and a half hours, generous for a combo day, and the bazaar an hour at the end.
You will not see Tutankhamun's mask at Tahrir: it moved to the Grand Egyptian Museum next to the pyramids in late October 2025. And watch the shopping. A January 2026 guest booked the bazaar and was taken to cotton, spice, papyrus and perfume shops instead. Tell your guide at pickup that you want the itinerary as listed.
Your guide waits in the lobby with a sign showing your name.
The Great Pyramid, Khafre and Menkaure, the Sphinx and the panoramic viewpoint. The plateau opens at 8 am.
A local Egyptian restaurant. Without the option, ask for a quick stop.
The Old Kingdom statues make more sense after the pyramids: Khafre, Djoser and the tiny Khufu statuette.
The old bazaar, then the drive back to your hotel.

Yes. This tour spends about three and a half hours at Giza and two and a half at Tahrir. The two are about 20 km apart, 40 to 60 minutes by car.
Not on this tour. It is at the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza since late October 2025, close to the pyramids but a separate ticket. Our Tahrir vs GEM guide compares them.
